Job Summary:

As a Health Coordinator at CentroNía, your responsibilities will encompass caring for students, ensuring their optimal health, and supporting teachers and families in creating healthy personal care routines. Your duties will include documenting health data and reports, monitoring health-related supplies, and making sure all pertinent information is gathered, reviewed for compliance, and accurately transferred.

Through your work, you will impact not only individual learners but also the larger DMV community, fostering a healthier environment for children to learn, grow, and thrive.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with ECE and EHS Leadership Team to plan and monitor health services programs.
  • Guide on children’s health issues and ensure compliance with DC/MD-DOH requirements.
  • Coordinate staff training on CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, and more.
  • Conduct home visits to assess health and provide support.
  • Input data into the COPA information system and maintain system updates.

What We Are Looking For:

For the Health Coordinator role, we seek applicants with an accredited health/nurse aide certificate or education in Nursing and at least two years of experience working with young children and families. You could be the perfect fit if you possess effective communication and record-keeping skills and thrive in a diverse environment. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
